Christy Wimber is the Senior Pastor here at the YLV. Both Sean & Christy have worked together and separately for over twenty years serving the Church in many different ways such as giving oversight to many groups, conferences, events, and ministries. Their greatest passion in the Church is worship, equipping others to find their place in life and ministry and caring for the poor. They’re greatest loves are their own kids, Camie Rose and John Richard II who both love & serve at the YLV as well. Christy is also an avid college football fan who prays for people who cheer against Ohio St. and Notre Dame.  Sean loves to hunt and loves to rest by sitting in his boat anywhere on water….alone.  He also loves to ride dirt bikes, and hanging out with his kids.

Pastoral Care Team

Here at the Yorba Linda Vineyard we have amazing leaders and elders that serve within our Church family. We have an incredible Pastoral Care Team which consists of elders and leaders (Rick & Sharon Morton, Andy & Rosana Wagner, Angel & Christina Acevedo, Chuck & Karen Mantyla). Each of these have been serving in Church leadership for many years and have been tried & proven in their leadership as well as their eldership within our Church family. We believe the Church is an army and within the army there needs to be captains who serve and help direct as well as love those within the family. Each member of our Pastoral Care team have made themselves available to encourage and help lead our Church family.

Katy Simnitt

Spiritual Formation Pastor for Worship
E-mail Katy Simnitt

Katy is a SoCal (and Vineyard) native with Midwestern values and the heart and soul of a Brit. In addition to 15+ years of experience as a musician and worship leader in various ecclesiastical settings, Katy holds a 4-year Prophetic Worship certificate from the International House of Prayer University in Kansas City, MO where she also served as an intercessory “musician-ary” in several prayer rooms on their missions base. After graduating, Katy spent over a year in the UK fuelling corporate intercession and worship as well as assisting in the training and equipping of worship leaders, prayer leaders, musicians, and prophetic singers. Ultimately, her heart’s desire is to see Jesus’ desire for a resting place on the earth fulfilled and that He would have a singing Bride in full agreement with everything He stands for. Currently, Katy is serving as our Spiritual Formation pastor for the worship ministry at YLV.

“Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations! Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.” (Revelation15:3-4)
